For complaints about an invitation, about your personal data or about our service, and for copyright and other takedown notices.
Contact
- [Grievance officer’s name], Grievance Officer, Elicus Technologies Private Limited
- Email: support@trulyinvited.com
- Phone: +91 [phone number] [Monday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00 IST]
- Address: [Registered office address, city, PIN]
Please put “Grievance” in the subject line. To report an invitation, the quickest way is the “Report” link on it, or our Report page.
What to send
- The link of the invitation, if your complaint is about one, and what is wrong with it.
- Your name and how to reach you. About your own data: the email address you sign in with.
- If an invitation shows you — or someone you act for — in an intimate or sexual way, or impersonates you (including a morphed or AI-made image), say so in the subject line, so that we act within hours.
Copyright and other rights
We don’t check what users upload, so we rely on rights owners to tell us. A takedown notice should give:
- the work (a photo, artwork, text or music) and proof that you own it or may act for its owner;
- the link of the invitation, where the work appears on it, and who uploaded it, if you know;
- why the use isn’t allowed by you, the owner or the law;
- your name, postal address, phone number and email address; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is true.
If the notice is complete, we disable access to the invitation (it shows “Not available”) and tell its owner. If you made the invitation and think we got it wrong, write to us to ask for a review.
What happens next
- We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 7 days of receiving it.
- Content showing a person’s private parts, nudity or sexual acts, or impersonating a person (including morphed or AI-made images), reported by that person or someone acting for them: removed or disabled within 2 hours.
- Other content that breaks section 6 of our Terms — obscene, hateful, harassing, fraudulent or harmful content, for example: acted on as fast as possible and resolved within 36 hours. Complaints that content belongs to someone else, infringes copyright or another right, or breaks some other law are resolved within the 7 days.
- Orders of a court, and directions from an authorised government agency: acted on within 3 hours.
- Requests to use your rights over your personal data (access, correction, erasure, nomination): answered within 90 days at the latest, and usually much sooner.
- We tell you what we decided, and why.
These are the times set by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as amended in 2026, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. Please don’t send false, frivolous or repeated complaints; we may decline them.
If you are not satisfied
- With our decision about content: you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days of it, at gac.gov.in.
- About your personal data: once our grievance process is complete, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- About a payment or something you bought: you can call the National Consumer Helpline on 1915, or complain to a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
