Refunds & cancellation

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Every payment is final. What you buy is digital and is delivered the moment you pay, so once a purchase is made it can’t be cancelled or refunded — except in the few cases below.

Keeping an invitation live longer

  • A payment for 1 year or forever applies to the invitation the moment it succeeds, so it can’t be cancelled or refunded.
  • That stays true if you later delete the invitation or your account, move it back to draft or make it “Only me”, or if it is suspended or removed for breaking our Terms. The time you paid for can’t be moved to another invitation.

Pro

  • Cancelling stops future renewals. Cancel at any time from My invitations or Billing: nothing more is charged, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Pro payments are not refunded, in full or in part — including for the rest of a period after you cancel, and when deleting your account cancels Pro straight away.
  • Pro renews automatically until you cancel. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date shown in Billing.
  • You can resume, or switch between monthly and yearly, from the same places; the new plan starts when the current period ends.

Payments refunded automatically

Only where a payment couldn’t buy what it was for:

  • A payment to keep an invitation live that arrives after the invitation was deleted or suspended, or after it was already made live forever (for example, paid twice from two tabs) — refunded in full.
  • A second Pro plan started by mistake while another is still renewing — cancelled, and its payment refunded.
  • The small authorisation charge Razorpay takes when you set up a plan that starts later (Resume or Switch plan).

Failed payments that were debited

  • If a payment failed but money left your account, we never received it: your bank or Razorpay reverses it automatically. For UPI and card payments the Reserve Bank of India sets a limit of 5 days from the payment.
  • If a payment succeeded but what you bought didn’t appear within a few minutes, there is no need to pay again: we check every payment with Razorpay every hour, and it is either applied or refunded.
  • If your money still hasn’t come back, write to support@trulyinvited.com with the date, the amount and the payment or UPI reference — never your card details, UPI PIN or OTP — and we will take it up with Razorpay.

Everything else

We don’t refund a payment for a change of mind, for an event that is postponed or cancelled, for mistakes in an invitation’s details, or for time left unused. In exceptional cases — for example, a fault on our side that stopped you from using what you paid for — we may refund a payment at our discretion; that doesn’t create a right to a refund in any other case.

Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that can’t be given up by agreement.

When a payment is refunded or reversed

  • What it bought is taken back: a payment to keep an invitation live loses the time it added, so the invitation may end at once; a Pro payment loses the Pro designs published in the period it paid for, which go back to draft until they are published again with Pro.
  • Refunds go back to the card, bank account or UPI app you paid with, through Razorpay. Banks usually show them within 5–7 working days.
  • You get a credit note for every refund, by email and in Billing.
  • If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of writing to us, we may contest it. If your bank reverses the payment, the same things are taken back, and we may suspend an account that abuses chargebacks.
